Saturday Night on the bank @ New Brighton

We were greeted by amazing weather, no wind and sunshine.
we did the long walk through the gutted stopping occasionally as it was still too deep, yes both are waders leaked as usual.
we walked for about 20 mins along the bank which wasnt that bad as the bank was uncovered a bit before we could get across.
We set up 2 rods each and first cast i got a good bite which resulted in this.

Steve was pestered by Whiting and Dabs which he ended up with 15 fish.

We both had a great night out and we will try again later on with a smaller tide.

thats the problem when your little with leaking waders you can get wet crossing the channel to get on the rock channel bank. Much more comfortable in a boat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and more big fish

Picked up a brand new pair of waders from taskers on friday. Courtesy of Leeda( if these ones leak Ocean wiill get my business!)
If you look at the photo you can see where the "wavelet" come over the top anyway!

Steve,you may be better off investing in a frogmans outfit for crossing that channel.

A boat is the thing needed!
