Myself and Mickey out on Hunter 11 last Thursday

Lots of smoothounds, dabs and doggies.
One thornie and one Bass about 3 pounds.

Although Bass about, doesn't appear to be many around.
I wonder whether the pile-driving for the new dock is scaring them.

Any comments?

Hi Steve,

You might be right, however a lot of algae-bloom was in the water when we went out on Saturday ... Blu-noze(Pete & Richie) and kingfisher (keith and Andy) fishing the banks, not many bass about infact Robbo caught the only bass of approx 2 1/2 lb.
8 species caught were.. bass/dabs/flounder/whiting/codling/doggies/starry and common smoothies. stayed on the banks until approx 13:00 then went to rock channel until approx 15:30. A good day out with good company and great weather.

Cheers
Richie
