2 small boats out in the mersey today steve bates on hunter 11,and myself on invader with ronnie jones, both boats had a superb days fishing over 18 smooth hounds to each boat, skate to 8 pounds, whiting, dabs, and flounder, fished from 9-0clock this morning until 3 this afternoon never seen the mersey fish so well and ive fished it for over 25 years. ronnie was going to do the report but as he hasn`t registered yet i thought i would show him how its done. Very Happy Surprised Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I agree with Dave best days fishing for many years. Smoothhounds must be the best pound for pound fighting fish in the mersey. Hope the fishing is as good for the rest of the summer.
