PostSubject: fishing yesterday sun 8 november   November 9th 2009, 13:07

Me and colin launched yesterday about 9am New Brighton,,just a few hours to check a few things on the boat were working ok..fished the rocks nowhere else....quite cold, loads of charters out and a few more small boats too..drizzly and damp at first but then the sunshine came.. not much to report, colin had a few codling to about 1 pound and a good pouting....nothing else...didnt fish for whiting etc as the river is stuffed with them..came back in about noon as big tide 8.6m high water was about 3pm...just a short pleasant trip,,nothing to write home about but hey, at least we were out....surprised non of the other club members were out though. perfect millpond all day,,others could have checked theirs too!!!! Idea
