PostSubject: club coach trip   June 29th 2010, 22:32

We are running a coach trip to Borth in wales.
saturday 24th july
leaving the dunnys club at 9am sharp so be early
returning at the dunnys club at 10.30pm ish
cost at the moment is 15 per person, drpping to 10 if we get enough people.
CLUB MEMBERS ONLY

Borth
this is a storm beach which produces flounder, bass, turbot, dogs, small eyed ray
the walk is minimal when we depart from the coach, there is steps to a shingle beach,
which has groynes and some petrified forest remains (these can hold the fish)
casting is not that important as most fish can be very close in, dogs and rays can be caught
from 60yds out just past the last breaker.

tactics
long traces -(longer the better) but dont fish too lighter snoods as they will tangle,
hooks should be size 4's to 1's.

weights - as light as you can get away with, the flatties need movement.

baits - ragworm, maddies, sandeel, crab lug, mackerel ( all baits should catch)

If you want to book on this trip you need to attend the next meeting on july 5th and pay you 15,
if there is enough the extra paid will be refunded.

KEEP CHECKING THIS THREAD FOR MORE INFO ABOUT HOW ITS FISHING.
any questions p.m. me
Mark
