Although it was very, very windy on Saturday the match went ahead. The river was a bit choppy but not bad considering how strong the wind was. Most of are lads drew the Sandon, with only Billy and Jack on the Alex. The fishing started good with some under size codling coming in, but as usual it was hit and miss, most of are lads had under size fish(,it had to be over 24cm for the coddie's)? Well done to Simon Bounds who was in the top 10 and Billy Ullathorne and John Parkinson for the largest flattie(wont mention the blanker's Rolling Eyes).

Sat 33 Fished.

1st Carl Edwards: 154cm: 2nd Kev Flannagan 126cm : 3rd Sean Ripley 91cm.
Longest Round Fish: P. Harrison 49cm codling. Longest Flat Fish (split) B. Ullathorne and J. Parkinson.

Sun 19 Fished.

1st John Rawlinson 152cm : 2nd Alan Noon 134cm : 3rd Jim Limb 101cm .
Longest Round Fish: R. Clarkson 48cm codling. Longest Flat Fish: A. Noon 33cm dab:

Overall Positions:

1st Carl Edwards ( Mersey Angler's ) 2nd John Rawlinson (Mersey Pirate's ) 3rd Alan Noon (Mersey Pirate's )

Well done to all who turned up . Tony (P.O.L.S.A.F.)
