Keith, Peter and myself decided to do a plaeasure bash last Thursday 27th in BLU-NOZE. As the weather and tide were favourable we decided to go to the rough ground. Got ot the rough ground around 09:00 and we were all straight into the fish... Dabs, Whiting, Codling, Ling, Tub Gurnard, Gray Gurnard, Doggies, Por Cod and a Weaver, 9 species in total which is not bad for April, around 60 plus fish were caught. We fished until approx 14:00 then decided to give the Alonso a few drifts to see if anything was about. Unfortunatley Blu-Noze's guest crew member for the day advised that the wind had picked up a bit and our drift was to quick. After about 40 mins giving it a go and no fish caught we decided to steam to the Rock Channel to see if any Smoothies were there, we gave it around 1 hour with no joy and with the wind starting to increase again decided to come in at 17:30. It was a very good day out enjoyed by all. A big thank you to our guest Keith for all his help and advice on the day.
