Well , another year gone! Heres a round up of some of the fishing we have done this month.
NWASAC 2 day open , otterspool 3rd and 4th. 6 members fished this match with all anglers catching, with some nice codling and whiting coming in. I managed a zone win and came 4th overall, so a really good result for us.
Club winter league rnd 3, Bromborough 18th 17 of us turned up to fish Bromborough on a cold clear day. The fishing wasnt that good but some decent codling came out with eventual winner , Alan Green , getting 2. the odd whiting dab and flounder made up the rest of the catch with lug squid crab and mackerel catching. 1st Alan Green 190cm,2nd Keith Gray 168cm, 3rd Andy Robinson115cm, 4th LesTrish102cm, and 5th Martin Bleasedale98cm
Clubmans match Perch Rock29th, 12 hardy anglers turned out to fish in storm force conditions They were rewaded with dabs whiting codling and flounder and sand in every oriffice! the fishing wasnt too bad and all caught.1st steve Trish18 fish 437cm, 2nd Les Trish, 399cm, 3rd Martin Bleasedale387cm 4th Alan Green 357cm, 5th Mal Bell353cm
Skua sac open Talacre new years eve.4 club members fished this and despite the hike, there and back to the fishing marks, really enjoyed it. The fishing was excellent with good whiting and dabs making up catches Best out of the sefton anglers was Ben Harrison who had 47? fish for over 12 meters! he took 2nd in his zone with that . I had 40 fish for 1042 cm and Dad and Alan green both had 32 fish each. An excellent match to end the year. Winner was welsh international and world No 1, Joe Arch who had 50 plus fish for over 13and a half metres! Hope every one has enjoyed their fishing this past year and lets look forward to next year. All the Best . Steve Trish
